Oh I know they lie! What I was trying to get at was, before they redid their site, they claimed 209.1whp on a stock type R. I later findout how to access their other dyno plots by removing a html code. In it showed a type R with 8psi producing 215.5whp. Now for some reason it shows on their new site as a stock type R! I will post a copy of the orginal dyno plot later tonight! Hahahaha

Mike,
As hard as you've worked to get over the 200whp mark, I'm convinced there isn't much truth to JR's dyno plots. I am one of the many that was led into believing that I could bolt on the blower and get the kind of numbers that JR claims. I'm almost afraid to dyno my car to find out the cold, hard truth. All in all, I'm happy I went FI, but I would have liked to have the facts given to me straight before I went down that road.

Boost first...ask questions later.

I wonder how false advertising will work in this situation? Since I am already in contact with lawers regarding my police harassment case, I will see if Jackson can be screwed by this! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif (Still looking for that plot. I know its around here somewhere)

Yeah, A friend of mine took his JRSC R to Jackson and had it installed. (He was one of the first JRSC type R's ('97) Anyway after they finished, they dyno'd his car. The dyno said it put out 210whp! When he drove back up to the bay area, he still wasn't convinced that his car felt powerful. So he took it to dynospot, and hit in the high 180's to low 190's! So he called JR, and they agreed to look at his car again. So he drove back down there to Westminister, CA. After acouple of days, they said somthing broke or came loose, and they agreed to fix it. They dyno'd his car again and he hit 209whp. So he drove back up here, and dyno'd it again. Yes once again he hit low 190's! And thats with H2O, intake, headers (mugen), exhaust (mugen), and many other insane mods.
Thats proof alone that JR BS's everything they do.
BTW-I'm still looking for that dyno plot. I know its around here somewhere.

Isn't it ironic that Oscar Jackson was a main source of information for an article in SCC last year entitled, "How to Lie with a Dyno".
He showed the author all kinds of tricks that people use to make before and after dyno's look like the tuner accomplished more than he really did.

Mike - I see you are to coming to the light. I called BS on JR a few months back.......just after the web page change. Before the change the CRX(d16a6) was the only D-series to dyno above 140hp(around 145hp) and then after web change it dyno'd

Same with the D16z6. It did dyno 140hp and 120lbs-ft and now:

Marc: I don't know what issue. I just borrow those magazines and give them back to whomever.
It was the tech article of the month, you know, that one right in the begining by the guy with the white ITR?
